Replimat developed this adapter in-house to control our production PRO60120 5′ x 10′ CNC Router and Laser and we sell copies to enable everyone who wants to adapt Replimat to their own unique needs.
The grbl4crp850 drops directly in to AvidCNC control cabinets built around the CRP850 breakout board allowing you to replace the built in EthernetSmoothStepper and Mach4 with an Arduino Mega running Grbl machine control firmware and your choice of host software.
We chose the easy to use and Open Source Fritzing software to draw the adapter.
Then we carefully hand routed and labeled each trace for easy debugging and modification.
Verified as of revision 0.3: machine travel in the X, Y, Z, and mirrored axes, in positive and negative directions, as well as homing and endstop sensors.
Enabling additional functions may require some minor modifications. Unused signals have been routed to a breakout header for easy access.
Available fully assembled with Arduino Mega pre-flashed with Grbl, or in a DIY kit with included headers for soldering yourself and supplying your own Arduino Mega or compatible controller.
